Healthy Home After a Hurricane – Manalapan

The Manalapan MRC-CERT is hosting a presentation by the Monmouth County Health Department and the Monmouth County Medical Reserve Corps called “Creating a Healthy Home after a Hurricane or Flood”. The program will be held on on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 6:30PM in the Court Room of Manalapan Town Hall.

The seven principles of a healthy home being covered are: Keeping it dry; Keeping it clean; keeping it ventilated; keeping it pest free; keeping it safe; keeping it contaminant free; and keeping it well maintained.

This is a free event for Manalapan residents. Attendees who pre-register will receive a “Healthy Home Tool Kit” to assist you in making your home a healthier and safer place.To register in advance (and thus receive your free kit) please contact the Manalapan Health Department at 732-446-8345 or health@mtnj.org.
